It’s been awhile between mixtapes, so thought it was about time that I compile another. Like the previous two, this one is basically a mix of songs and artists that I’ve been listening to at the moment. This mixtape however is more on the indie/ acoustic side with a good combination of both Australian, British and American bands. Hopefully you’ll all be able to find a gem or two that suits your taste. Enjoy & please reblog.

Kale & I decided to go location scouting on Wednesday afternoon. We found these two old, run down silos right on dust. The whole area surrounding them was really spooky. I think you can get a sense that from this photo.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]Saosin - Is This Real
So, this is one of two new Saosin songs that leaked today. The song showcases everything I love about Saosin and what drew me too them in the first place. It’s loud, fast and the vocals are outstanding. Their new album ‘In Search of Soild Ground’, is due out pretty soon. Enjoy this track, while you wait for it.

As a child, I remember the first time I watched the original Walt Disney cartoon of Alice in Wonderland. I didn’t really know what was happening, it was all very, very strange. I mean for one, there’s talking animals, weird twins, a crazy hat man, a queen dressed as a playing card. What child wouldn’t be scared or at least confused by what they were seeing? Since then I’ve watched Alice in Wonderland many times and although I now understand all the symbolism, I still find it as strange and bizarre as when I first watched it. That doesn’t mean I don’t like it though. I love Alice in Wonderland!! It’s like an odd dream where none of the piece fit together and nothing makes sense. I figure it’s the closest thing to being on an acid trip without actually taking anything. I can only imagine the spin that Tim Burton will put on the tale when his film is released in March of next year. It’s already got a stellar cast and the stills that have been released look phenomenal. I guess it’s safe to say that I’m pretty excited about this movie.
