Anya Marina - Satellite Heart
I saw the new Twilight film, New Moon on Friday. I was actually in two minds about seeing it. Although I didn’t terribly like the original Twilight film, I thought with a bigger budget it could have been desent. So, I was kinda hopefully that the second edition to the saga would really turn up the heat a notch. Although it was a big step up from the original Twilight movie, I still found New Moon bland, long and tedious, even if it did have a superior production value, improved special effects and filming.
But, I don’t want be a Twilight basher, I know (from a very reliable source) that If you’re into the book you’ll love the new film. I’ve heard the film is very true to the book. I also know that if you’re a girl you’ll love this film, Jacob has his shirt off for 2/3 of his screen time.
There is however, one thing I can say I love about the Twilight Saga. The soundtrack/s are always phenomenal. I’ve enjoyed both soundtracks thus far, the choice of artists and the fresh songs. This is one of the songs I’m currently really enjoying. The lyrics are gorgeous. Enjoy.

Tomorrow I’m performing at a fundraising concert that Sam has organised for college. In search for inspiration I’ve been cruising youtube all morning. I thought I’d cover a song I haven’t played in ages, ‘Hear You Me’ by Jimmy Eat World. While searching through the masses of covers (most of which are horrible) I found this little gem. A fingerstyle arrangement of the song. It’s absolutely brilliant!
