I found this really cool TV series today which takes it name from the popular Blink182 song “All The Small Things”.
The Show is a British drama/comedy that follows the lives and ambitions of a church choir and its members. Throughout the series Blink182 songs and other popular punk songs like “Swing, Swing” by The All-American Rejects are featured and sung as solos and by the choir. It’s a really interesting contempt.
When I first started singing in choir’s everyone thought it was really strange because I had always played in punk and hardcore bands. I’d always enjoyed all styles and types of music but, had just never sung in choirs before. When I was younger my favorite band was Blink182 and I was utterly obsessed with them! Watching the show “All The Small Things”, it’s awesome to see music that is so familiar to me and has so many memories for me being sung by choir’s that are actually very similar to the choirs I sing in at the moment.
