So I figure this is a personal blog & I should probably upload more personal stuff.

So here’s something personal for you. As you may or may not know, I’m in a band. Well, more of a duo than a band. Its just myself and a good friend of mine, Lachlan. We basically just write music when we’ve got nothing better to do and play shows when we aren’t busy, all under the name ‘The Splendid Achiever’.

So anyway, I wrote this song about 2 years ago and recorded it at a friends studio (on a low budget) in March of this year. Its pretty lo-fi, pretty mellow. The song is basically about the loss of innocence in children because of war, media, abuse and a whole lot of other factors. I don’t want to give too much of it away, take from it what you will.

Its called, Those who sold the stars.
