Today I was fortunate enough to have lunch with some great friends, two of which are huge photography nuts. I met both Kent and Levi (a fellow Tumblr) at roughly the same time while singing with the A Capella group at college. The three of us, get on like a house on fire and all share similar interests, musical tastes and lame humor.
Anyway, they’ve been raving on about a photographer recently by the name of Joey L. I’ve just tonight, spent 2 hours cruising his website. His photos have sold me, their absolutely phenomenal. His work consists of everything from portraits to landscapes. His most amazing photos however, are his personal ones, a collection photographing and documenting holy men of third world countries. What’s absurd though, is that he’s only 18 years old. Something I find incredible considering the quality of his work, wisdom, client list and experience.
